Why spend a lot of money on expensive diaper creams when you can buy all natural coconut oil. I now use it when I make my baby wipes.
To use it you scoop out what you need and start rubbing. It will begin as a solid but melt into a yummy smelling liquid. It smells like the beach. ahhhh I love it.
Still not convinced? Here are other benefits

Thanks for the tip...with baby #3 on the way I can always use new ideas that work well and natural is always a bonus:)
Oh, wow, I will definitely be trying it! My third little guy has eczema...I wonder if it would help him! (this is toomanylegos from bbc, by the way) ;)
ohh you could for sure use this with baby #3. I wish someone would have told me about when I had Big G. It would have saved me so much money. I don't know if I will ever buy another diaper rash cream again.
Andrea, give it a try. I think you will really like it. I use it for everything. Big G had carpet burn on his leg and of course I put some coconut oil on it. It worked great!
Hey Alanna,
I bought the Organic coconut oil and it doesn't have the coconut smell..?? I went to the Vitaminn Shoppe here in Mass and they had a few varieties... is your coconut oil expeller pressed or cold pressed or refined..?
Cass
This kind of stuff is why I read your blog! I'm going to go out and look for some coconut oil tomorrow! Thanks Alanna!
Cass, I have unrefined coconut oil. What did you end up buying?
My friend just started making her own deodorant, and the base is coconut oil. She loves it. I used some on my hands and liked it too. I may have to invest in some!
I found your blog from your BBC signature. Nice blog!
Thanks Amanda! Try it out, it's amazing stuff
